However, it wasn't until she turned 8 that she discovered her love for singing. At 6 years old, during a summer visit to her grandmother's home, Masha was struck by her grandmother's beautiful rendition of "Forest Deer." Captivated, she begged her grandmother to teach her the song. Masha's memory was impressive, as she memorized the lyrics and melody while her grandmother prepared breakfast. Recognizing her potential, Masha's parents hired a vocal coach to help her develop her skills. Although she juggled dance and singing classes for a few years, music ultimately won over her heart.
In 2017, Masha participated in "The Voice of Children. Ukraine," her first significant singing challenge. Initially, she accompanied a friend to the audition, but her impressive performance of Summertime garnered more than 2 million views and led her to the finals, where she sang "Run to You." The competition gave her a chance to explore Ukraine's rich musical heritage.
Masha's talent caught the attention of music producer Ruslan Kvinta, who composed a song for her to participate in Belarus's Junior Eurovision Song Contest national selection in 2018. However, the jury deemed that it was not suitable for the competition. Despite the setback, Masha remained determined and tried again in 2019, where she became a fan favorite but ultimately lost to another contender.
Undeterred, Masha continued to pursue her passion for singing and participated in the D2D Destiny Foundation project in 2020. There, she performed with the children of Eurovision and America's Got Talent winners and finalists, raising awareness for children with cancer.
Unfortunately, Masha faced another obstacle in 2021 when her grandmother, who was the first to discover her vocal talent, passed away. Nevertheless, Masha chose to honor her grandmother's dream and pushed harder towards her goal.
Masha's dedication and perseverance paid off in 2022, as she participated in a Russian musical project that garnered over 50 million views across various digital platforms.
